This initiative of the European Commission tracks the progress of EU member countries (plus Iceland, Norway, and Turkey) towards a series of goals related to digitization. It organizes the data around a set of areas—connectivity, human capital, use of Internet, integration of digital technology, digital public service, and research and development—and there are reports for each. Progress reports for each country are published, and a composite index and a scoreboard summarize the progress. This initiative also publishes different studies related to the Internet: on broadband speed, on broadband pricing, for instance.
