Alkasir

Alkasir is a circumvention tool that also maps online censorship. Alkasir previously offered a dynamic map with information on sites being blocked.

AMICPI

Asociación Mexicana de Internet (AMICPI) produces yearly reports based on surveys on Internet habits, and thematic reports, some of them yearly, on issues such as online commerce, online banking, data protection, and online marketing.

AMO (Arab Media Outlook)

Sponsored by Dubai’s Press Club, AMO claims to be “the most comprehensive and authentic source of data on the media sector in the Arab world”. It publishes periodic reports--which can be accesed upon registration--on the media in the Arab world, including the Internet and digital media, with country by country data.

ANATEL

The national telecommunications agency of Brazil provides very detailed information (in CSV format) about internet access in the country, with breaks by municipality, by state, by region, by speed, by technology, and by provider.

Angola: Instituto Angolano das Comunicacoes (Angolan Institute of Communications)

The Angolan Institution of Communication provides statistics on mobile use and internet use for the years 2015 and 2014. The statistic page provides many visuals to show the current internet and mobile use in Angola. Additionally, there are graphs that also show how mobile and internet use have increased between 2010 and 2015 as well as the rate of internet penetration. 

APNIC

This regional registry for the Asia-Pacific region provides data on IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and on ASN delegations, both by geography and by resource.

Arab Advisors Group

Part of the Arab Jordan Investment Bank Group, this research, analysis and consulting company focuses on the communications, media, technology and financial markets throughout the Arab World (MENA) region. It produces (and sells, only a few are offered for free) numerous reports on the Internet, on online social networks, and on digital media.
